
We currently live in a time where a significant number of events have moved online. Additionally, the majority of communications, including commercial meetings, interviews, and academic lectures, are conducted online. So, there will be different scenarios where you need to record the audio from your Mac and take a picture on a mac. To record audio on mac, all you need is quick time. Press command+space and type quicktime, or access quicktime from launchpad or you can also record audio from Go to File – New Audio Recording. Open the drop-down menu and select the microphone you want to record with, and the quality of the recording. Press Record. When done, press the record button again. Now you can listen to your recording. Open the File menu, then select Save. Select the location, then hit save once more.
Steps to record audio on Mac
Following are the steps you can use to record audio on mac:
- Open QuickTime Player. You can find it in the /Applications/ folder.
- Choose File > New Audio Recording in QuickTime Player.
- A pop-up recording will appear.
- There are a few settings you can change such as:
- Recording’s current file size.
- Options. They come in twos:
- If you have more than one microphone, you can pick one. Make that the microphone on your Mac is operational.
- As for audio quality: The level of recording quality is selectable. The two options are High and Maximum. A larger file size translates to higher quality.
- Record button – When you are prepared to begin your recording, you must click this button. You must press the same button once more to end the recording. If necessary, you can also pause a recording. To pause and continue recording, simply select the option and click the record button once more.
- Control over the volume.
- Change the settings. Then, by clicking the record button, you may begin your recording. Click the same button once you are finished.
- File > Save is where you would save the file.
