How to enable Caret Browsing?
The way to enable Caret Browsing is very easy. You are using any browser such as Microsoft Edge, Mozilla or Google Chrome, all you have to do is type the F7 function key. A pop up will open in front of you. There you have to click on “Turn On”. And you are now browsing caret.
Enable Caret Browsing in Google Chrome
Following are the steps to enable caret browsing in google chrome-
- Firstly you have to go to Settings for this you have to click on three dots which is visible in the top right corner. After that click on the setting option.
- You have to click on Accessibility from the left sidebar. And here all the options related to Accessibility will be seen.
- Here you have to enable the option of Navigate pages with a text cursor by clicking on it.
- And now you are doing caret browsing.
How does Caret Browsing work?
Any browser will provide you a moving cursor once you enable caret surfing, exactly like an editor (Word). With the use of the windows key shortcut “Shift+arrows,” you can now pick any text on your keyboard using your keyboard. Caret surfing makes it simple to copy text from links and buttons that can be clicked.
