While preparing food with fellow competitor Nia Sharma, comedian Sudesh Lehri had an accident in the kitchen. The incident transpired concurrently with Reem Shaikh’s on-set injuries.
Comedian Sudesh Lehri got injured on the sets of the reality show Laughter Chefs a few days ago. A source close to the show exclusively told IndiaToday.in that the comedian was shooting for an episode with actor Nia Sharma when he met with a knife accident.
The source explained that Nia and Sudesh were cooking together when he accidentally suffered a knife cut. “While cooking, his partner, Nia Sharma, accidentally injured him with a knife. Sudesh was bleeding profusely and received medical aid. Despite this, the comedian graciously continued the shoot but took the next day off to recover from his injury,” the source said.
The source further revealed that the incident took place on the same day actor Reem Shaikh, another contestant on the show, suffered an accident while frying food on the sets. “While she was trying to fry food, oil splattered all over her face, causing burns,” he said.
The comedic show about cooking is presently not moving forward with filming. Laughter Chef was only granted a three-month extension lately. The crew chose to give the cast a break in order to enable them finish their pre-commitments, because the necessary episodes for the first season had already been filmed. By the end of this month, the actors will begin filming the expanded version.
